Application of Wireless Temperature Sensor in Press

Bearing is an important component in modern mechanical equipment. Its main function is to support the mechanical rotating body, reduce the friction during its movement, and ensure its rotation accuracy. In order to ensure the normal function of the bearing in the mechanical equipment and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the equipment, it is necessary to monitor the operating state of the bearing.

There are many factors that affect the normal operation of the bearing. For example, insufficient lubrication and poor installation accuracy may cause the bearing temperature to rise abnormally. At this time, if the machine is stopped immediately, the occurrence of equipment, product quality and even personal safety accidents can be effectively avoided.

It can be seen that the monitoring of bearing temperature is of great practical significance for equipment maintenance, especially for heavy-duty and high-speed bearings, it is more necessary to install wireless temperature sensors.

Ⅰ. System advantages of wireless temperature sensor

Compared with the traditional wired temperature measurement method, the advantages of the wireless temperature measurement system are not only reflected in the "wireless" point, but also have other advantages.

1. Because it is free from wiring, the equipment itself has fewer slots and holes, which has a lower impact on the strength of the equipment itself, and the installation cycle is short, and the installation is convenient and flexible.

2. Get rid of the limitation of wiring, the arrangement of the wireless temperature sensor is more flexible and compact than the traditional wired method.

3. The wireless temperature measurement method has flexible networking and stronger scalability.

Ⅱ. The applicability analysis of wireless temperature sensor

1. SMD wireless temperature sensor

The patch-type wireless temperature sensor adopts a low-power design and is powered by a 3.6V high-temperature lithium battery without external power supply. It uses the wireless communication method to send the collected temperature data to the host. The data is sent every time the temperature changes, and the data is refreshed every 15 minutes if the temperature does not change, which prolongs the service life of the battery.

The whole sensor adopts metal design to form electromagnetic shielding, which is not disturbed by the surrounding magnetic field, and can work stably in a strong electromagnetic field environment; it is easy to install and only needs two stainless steel screws to fix; the sensor adopts an anti-vibration structure, which fully meets the needs of on-site use in the stamping workshop.

2. Wireless communication

Considering that the upper beam of the press is a closed structure, the wireless communication technology is used to verify the signal transmission of the wireless temperature sensor. The maximum transmission power is not more than 10mW, and the longest transmission distance is not less than 300m. After the signal is further enhanced, it is converted to the wireless display host. The host communicates with the press PLC system, interlocks the abnormal temperature alarm with the press operation, realizes the data visualization chain protection, and predicts the risk, which is easy to find the source problem and completely avoid it. Structural damage or even damage caused by abnormal temperature rise.

3. Transformation and practice

Wireless temperature sensors can be better used in stamping workshops. At the same time, it is of great significance for renovation projects to perfectly match the old and new models with its installation flexibility and convenience.
