Installation and use of current transformer

1, the current transformer installation, depending on the configuration of the equipment has the following cases.

① will be installed in the current transformer on the metal frame.

② in the bus bar through the wall or floor, the current transformer directly with the foundation screws fixed in the wall or floor, or first angle iron into a rectangular frame buried in the wall or floor, and then the same size as the frame of the iron plate (about 4mm thick), with screws or welding fixed in the frame, and then the current transformer fixed in the iron plate. ③ installation, the centre of the three current transformers should be in the same plane, the interval of the transformers should be consistent, and finally the current transformer base should be well grounded.

2, the primary winding of the current transformer and the measured line in series, the secondary winding and electrical measurement instrumentation in series, wiring polarity symbols can not be wrong. In practice, due to the conditions, there will be a current transformer phase one and two end buttons completely reversed, which is also possible.

3, three phase circuit in each phase of the current transformer ratio and capacity should be the same.

4, the current transformer secondary test one end must be grounded (generally Kz grounding) to prevent the current transformer in a two coil breakdown, a test of the voltage fled into the secondary test.

5, the current transformer secondary winding can not be open circuit. Otherwise, will produce high voltage, endangering the safety of equipment and operating personnel; at the same time because the current transformer core overheating, there is the possibility of burning the transformer: the error of the current transformer has also increased.

6, the operation of the current transformer is found to have unusual vibration of the sound and heat phenomenon, should stop running, inspection and processing.
